When I was medically retired, I felt betrayed, abandoned, discarded, disrespected, hopeless, helpless, and thrown onto the scrap heap - and all of that on top of the effects of a divorce, mental illness and spinal injuries. It seems far too many of you are feeling the similarly, the same, or even worse!
